OUR WONDERFUL LANDOWNERS
Conservation outreach and portraying land worth saving are very important facets of the Valley Land Fund and the 2010 South Texas Pro Classic. Photo Bound Tours has made special arrangements with some wonderful landowners across the Rio Grande Valley to show and share the success of sound conservation practices on their land.
These landowners invite Pro Classic contestants to visit and photograph on their property during the contest, on an as-available, reservations basis. In exchange, they ask that the contestants sign a waiver of liability form, follow all ranch rules and provide the landowner with copies of some of their favorite images taken on the property.
Each ranch is unique, but all include professionally-designed photo blinds, watering holes and feeding stations to attract wildlife and provide excellent photo opportunities.
The Pro Classic contestants are provided with direct contact information for each of the landowners and their representatives, and the landowners are provided with a current list of Pro Classic photographers.
We thank the landowners who have made this possible and hope this new approach by the 2010 South Texas Pro Classic highlights and celebrates the biodiversity of South Texas land and all that inhabits it.
